Robert Half is op zoek naar Chief Accountant (M/V/X) - Regio Kortrijk.

Onze klant is een gevestigde en financieel gezonde onderneming binnen een technische en industriële omgeving. Als belangrijke speler in haar markt combineert de organisatie een sterke operationele expertise met een klantgerichte aanpak.

Volgende taken behoren tot jouw pakket als Chief Accountant (M/V/X):

Als teamleader Finance & Accounting geef je leiding aan het finance team en sta je garant voor een tijdige en accurate uitvoering van alle financiële en administratieve processen. Je rapporteert aan de financial controller en werkt nauw samen met de business controller, group control, het financieel shared service center en het managementteam.

Teammanagement & leiderschap

* Je geeft leiding aan het finance team.

* Je motiveert, inspireert en coacht je medewerkers, ook tijdens veranderingsprocessen, zodat hun vakkennis en prestaties groeien.

* Je signaleert procesverbeteringen, maakt je omgeving daarvan bewust en voert ze door.

Financiële administratie & rapportage

* Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de maand- en jaarafsluiting en het opstellen van de jaarrekening.

* Je staat in voor het crediteuren- en debiteurenproces, het tussenrekeningbeheer en de vaste activa-administratie.

* Je verzorgt de rapportages aan externe instanties en bereidt de interne rapportages voor het management voor.

* Je dient de btw-aangiftes en de aangiftes vennootschapsbelasting in en bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor de fiscus.

* Je bent aanspreekpunt voor de externe accountant en bereidt de accountantscontrole voor.

* Je onderhoudt een nauwe samenwerking met group control en het shared service center, en legt vakinhoudelijke vraagstukken voor met een duidelijke situatieschets en een voorgestelde oplossingsrichting.

Planning, budgettering & analyse

* Je ondersteunt de business controller bij de jaarlijkse budgetten en periodieke forecasts.

* Je ondersteunt management en business controller bij investeringen en kostenbesparingen.

Risicobeheer & compliance

* Je beheert de verzekeringsportefeuille.

* Je ontwerpt, implementeert en bewaakt interne controles en procedures om fouten en fraude te voorkomen.

* Je zorgt dat het bedrijf voldoet aan alle fiscale verplichtingen en wettelijke vereisten.

* Je brengt financiële en bedrijfsrisico's in kaart, mitigeert ze en communiceert erover met het management.

* Je blijft op de hoogte van recente ontwikkelingen binnen debiteuren, crediteuren en administratieve processen en toetst de toepasbaarheid op de eigen organisatie.

Jouw profiel:

* Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie binnen boekhouding en afsluiting.

* Je hebt affiniteit met peoplemanagement: je bent eerder een coach en aanspreekpunt, één van het team, dan een klassieke leidinggevende.

* Je kan zelfstandig een volledige boekhouding van A tot Z opvolgen en bewaken.

* Je spreekt vlot Nederlands. Spreekdurf Frans en Engels is mooi meegenomen.

* Ervaring met SAP is een troef.

Je werkt nauwkeurig, communiceert helder en durft procesverbeteringen aan te kaarten en door te voeren.
