Hoe maak jij mee het verschil?

Als Onderhoudstechnieker garandeer je dat defecten hersteld zijn en dat onze reizigers instappen in een mechanisch goed werkende trein. Zo zorg je ervoor dat ze iedere dag veilig op hun bestemming geraken.

Wat is jouw rol bij NMBS ?

Als onderhoudstechnieker (ook wel inspecteur treinen genoemd) is je hoofdtaak het controleren van reizigerstreinen, maar er is meer:

  • Je voert remproeven uit.
  • Je voert een technische schouwing en kleine reparaties uit aan het reizigersmaterieel (in het station, de treinbundel of in de werkplaats).
  • Je voert kleine herstellingswerken uit aan de gebouwen of infrastructuur (in de treinbundel of in de onderhoudspost).

Waarom is deze job iets voor jou ?

  • Je hebt een getuigschrift technisch secundair onderwijs (na 4 jaar), beroepssecundair onderwijs (na 6 jaar) (OK3) in het studiegebied mechanica – elektriciteit of een gelijkwaardigheidsattest. Heb je geen dergelijk diploma maar wel 2 jaar ervaring in een technische job of je volgde een gelijkwaardige opleiding bij VDAB, Syntra of een andere opleidingsinstelling? Aarzel niet om je in te schrijven!
  • Je vindt het fijn om met een team in een ploegensysteem (3x8) te werken, ook in het weekend.
  • Je bent handig en je houdt van een fysieke job waarbij je nauwkeurig te werk kan gaan.
  • Je hebt kennis van mechanische ineenzettingstechnieken en kan mechanische metingen uitvoeren.
  • Je kan planlezen.
  • Je leert graag bij over nieuwe technieken en installaties.

Deze job leer je niet op de schoolbanken. Daarom investeren we veel in je opleiding. Je volgt les in ons gloednieuw opleidingscentrum in Melle. Je zal (theorie)lessen in Melle afwisselen met opleiding in de werkplaats. In het totaal ga je, verspreid over je eerste 12 weken, zo’n 28 dagen naar Melle. Ook daarna voorzien we nog heel wat opleiding op de werkplek. Je kiest voor een boeiende en afwisselende job in een aangename werksfeer. En natuurlijk bieden we je ook:
