GO! BSBO Wilgenduin is dé school voor buitengewoon onderwijs van scholengroep Antwerpen, gelegen in een prachtig groene omgeving vlakbij de Kalmthoutse Heide. We bieden onderwijs aan kinderen van 2,5 tot 13 jaar die nood hebben aan een specifieke begeleiding in hun ontwikkeling. Kinderen die van het CLB een attest type basisaanbod, type 2, type 7 of type 9 kregen, zijn welkom. Een bruisend team van professionals staat klaar voor deze kinderen en voor elkaar. Op onze school geloven we dat een kind pas kan leren als het zich goed, veilig en begrepen voelt. Voor de combinatie van onze pauzeplek en de ondersteuning in onze auti-werking (type 9) zoeken we per direct een gedreven collega voor een vervangopdracht (22/22) tot en met 29 november 2026.

In deze dubbele rol schakel je flexibel tussen opvang in crisis/prikkelarme ruimtes en preventieve ondersteuning op de klasvloer:

  • Pauzeplek: Je ontvangt leerlingen die nood hebben aan rust of ontprikkeling. Je helpt hen met veel geduld te de-escaleren, biedt emotionele ondersteuning en begeleidt hen via herstelgesprekken weer naar de klas.
  • Auti-ondersteuning: Je biedt gerichte ondersteuning binnen onze auti-werking. Je helpt leerlingen met autisme bij het verwerken van prikkels, het verduidelijken van de planning (verduidelijking in tijd, ruimte en verwachtingen) en de opbouw van hun zelfredzaamheid.
  • Preventie & Co-teaching: Je werkt in en rond de klassen om spanning tijdig op te merken en te reduceren vóór de emmer overloopt.
  • Teamwerk: Je werkt nauw samen met het multidisciplinair team, de orthopedagoog en klasleerkrachten. Je rapporteert in het leerlingvolgsysteem om patronen helder te krijgen.
  • Je beschikt over een pedagogisch diploma
  • Je hebt een sterke affiniteit met en kennis van autismespectrumstoornissen (ASS) en de specifieke noden van type 9-leerlingen.
  • Je bent emotioneel stevig verankerd: je blijft kalm, vriendelijk en kordaat, ook wanneer de emoties bij een kind hoog oplopen.
  • Je beschikt over een grote dosis empathie, geduld en sterke de-escalerende vaardigheden.
  • Je denkt in mogelijkheden en zoekt creatief naar wat wél werkt voor een uniek kind.
  • Je hebt ervaring met PTV-technieken (geen must, maar een grote meerwaarde).
