Waarom jij je als Senior Mechanisch Tekenaar bij Vycon meteen thuis voelt?

Stel je voor:

Je opent ’s morgens SolidWorks, niet om “nog maar eens” een standaardopstelling uit te tekenen, maar om een oplossing te zoeken voor een echt technisch vraagstuk bij een klant.

Als Senior Mechanisch Tekenaar Machinebouw bij Vycon:

  • ben je geen nummertje in een groot tekenbureau, maar een vaste referentie in een compact, ervaren team.
  • zie je je ontwerpen écht gebouwd worden, een paar meter verder in het atelier.
  • heb je impact op hoe wij machines ontwerpen, verbeteren en standaardiseren

Wat zit er voor jou in?

1. Je werkt aan machines die ertoe doen:

Onze systemen komen terecht in omgevingen waar alles moet kloppen: hygiëne, veiligheid, snelheid, betrouwbaarheid.

Voor jou betekent dat:

  • Technische puzzels op niveau: robotcellen, transportsystemen, volautomatische verpakkingslijnen.
  • Ruimte om mechanische concepten uit te denken die meer zijn dan “copy-paste” van vorige projecten.
  • De voldoening om later bij de klant te zien hoe jouw ontwerp dag in dag uit draait.

2. Je krijgt ownership over je ontwerpen

Je vertaalt klantbehoeften naar concrete, maakbare ontwerpen in SolidWorks.

Niet alleen een 3D-model en klaar, maar:

  • Je denkt mee over verbeteringen aan modules en onderdelen: wat kan sterker, eenvoudiger, onderhoudsvriendelijker?
  • Je volgt je ontwerp op richting werkvoorbereiding en productie, en schakelt rechtstreeks met collega’s in het atelier.
  • Je werkt samen met sales en automation, zodat het totaalconcept technisch klopt en praktisch uitvoerbaar is.

3. Als senior heb je meer te bieden dan ervaring alleen. Bij ons kun je die ook echt inzetten:

  • Je helpt onze ontwerp- en PDM-structuren slimmer, consistenter en efficiënter maken.
  • Je denkt mee over standaardisatie zonder de creativiteit uit projecten te halen.
  • Je tilt de kwaliteit van het hele ontwerpteam mee omhoog door kennis te delen, vragen te challengen en alternatieven aan te reiken.

4. Je werkt in een omgeving waar techniek centraal staat

Vycon is onderdeel van de Vytech Group, en dit voelt in de dagelijkse praktijk als een warme, technische KMO met stabiliteit en werkzekerheid:

  • Directe communicatielijnen.
  • Collega’s die even graag over oplossingen discussiëren als over de nieuwste machine in het magazijn.
  • De stabiliteit van een groep, met de flexibiliteit en nuchterheid van een kleiner team.

5. Je rol is senior, maar dat wil niet zeggen dat je in meetings verdwijnt:

  • Je blijft zelf ontwerpen en tekenen in SolidWorks.
  • Je bent aanspreekpunt voor collega’s bij technische vragen, zonder dat je je hele dag in overleg zit.
  • Je ziet je ontwerpen evolueren van idee tot uitvoering.

  • Bachelor of Master in (elektro)mechanica of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Minstens 5 à 10 jaar ervaring in mechanisch ontwerp of machinebouw
  • Ervaring met SolidWorks of gelijkaardige CAD-software
  • Oog voor detail én praktische uitvoerbaarheid
  • Communicatief, collegiaal en oplossingsgericht
  • Je zoekt een stabiele omgeving waar jouw ervaring gewaardeerd wordt
