Als verpleegkundige bij de HIC op de Nieuwe Valerius ben je een belangrijke schakel in de behandeling van patiënten met ernstige psychiatrische stoornissen. Wil je klinisch redeneren bij complexe zorgvragen, een wezenlijke stem hebben in de behandeling van patiënten, dan ben je op de HIC op de juiste plek.

Passende zorg voor jouw patiënten

  • De kliniek high intensive care is een acute opname-afdeling met 21 opnameplekken. We behandelen patiënten tussen de 18 en 60 jaar met een zeer diverse achtergrond en uiteenlopende psychiatrische ziektebeelden, die zich in een ernstige crisis bevinden. We maken hierbij gebruik van verschillende behandel methodieken waaronder MBT, ECT, diverse gesprekstechnieken en sterk medicamenteus beleid.
  • Ons doel is om in nauwe samenwerking met de patiënt, hun naasten en de ambulante zorg de crisis af te wenden en te streven naar een kortdurende opname. Hierbij werken we volgens het HIC-model.
  • Hoewel opnames vaak niet vrijwillig zijn, streven we ernaar dwang en drang tot een minimum te beperken.
  • De HIC van de Nieuwe Valerius is verbouwd. Wij hebben een aparte ICU/ EBK op de afdeling. Dit maakt dat wij nog betere zorg, volgende HIC-methodiek, kunnen verlenen aan onze patiënten.
  • Ons multidisciplinaire team bestaat uit verpleegkundigen, begeleiders, psychiaters, artsen, psychologen, maatschappelijk werkers, vaktherapeuten en ervaringsdeskundigen. We hebben uitstekende samenwerkingsverbanden met ziekenhuizen en andere zorgklinieken.
  • Ons team kenmerkt zich door een open leerklimaat waar veel aandacht is voor feedback, initiatief en intervisie. We bouwen op elkaar en er is ruimte voor plezier en ontspanning.

  • Als verpleegkundige op de HIC werk je met een hecht team in een snel veranderend afdelingsklimaat. Een hoge omloop van patiënten zorgt voor een groot beroep op jouw professionele verpleegkundige vaardigheden. Klinisch redeneren, besluitvaardig zijn en sterke communicatieve vaardigheden maken jou geschikt voor deze zeer interessante werkplek.
  • Op de HIC couperen wij ernstige crisis bij patiënten met als doel ze zo snel als mogelijk weer te helpen om naar vermogen mee te doen in de samenleving.
  • Je stelt begeleidingsplannen op, voert ze uit, evalueert en past ze indien nodig aan. Je signaleert crisissituaties en biedt ondersteuning bij interventies. Je stemt de zorg af met het team van behandelaren en coördineert deze in samenspraak met de patiënt en zijn of haar naasten. Daarnaast bewaak je, door klinisch redeneren, de somatische kwetsbaarheden van onze patiënten, bijvoorbeeld bij ECT patiënten.
  • Ook speel je een actieve rol in het bieden van begeleiding en ondersteuning aan andere teamleden zoals stagiairs en leerlingen.
  • Je wordt uitgedaagd om proactief mee te denken aan de ontwikkelingen op het gebied van zorgverlening op de HIC.

  • Je hebt een afgeronde opleiding mbo-4 verpleegkunde of hbo verpleegkunde.
  • Een zeer voordelige parkeerregeling direct onder je werkplek.
