The posting

Als woonbegeleider bij GGZ inGeest werk je op een nieuwe besloten woonafdeling met volwassenen met een langdurige en ernstige psychiatrische aandoening. Je biedt dagelijkse begeleiding, structuur en nabijheid en draagt bij aan een veilige en stabiele woonomgeving waarin herstel centraal staat. Samen met het team bouw je mee aan een nieuwe afdeling.

Over de afdeling

Op Westerpoort openen we een besloten woonafdeling voor cliënten met een psychische kwetsbaarheid, vaak in combinatie met middelengebruik en ingrijpende levensgebeurtenissen. Veel bewoners verblijven hier langere tijd en hebben al meerdere behandeltrajecten doorlopen.

We werken herstelgericht volgens de ART-methodiek, waarbij we samen met bewoners doelen opstellen op verschillende levensgebieden. De afdeling is besloten: de deur is gesloten, maar kan open wanneer dat past binnen de gemaakte afspraken. Veiligheid, voorspelbaarheid en relatieopbouw staan centraal.

Je komt te werken in een nieuw team dat de afdeling samen opbouwt. We zoeken collega’s met een rustige houding, geduld en duidelijke grenzen. De locatie ligt in een groene, rustige omgeving die bijdraagt aan herstel en ruimte biedt om even op adem te komen.

Wat ga je doen?

Als woonbegeleider werk je dagelijks met bewoners aan het ‘gewone leven’ met daarin structuur, stabiliteit en herstel.

Je:

  • begeleidt en observeert bewoners in het dagelijks leven;
  • biedt ondersteuning bij zelfzorg en praktische zaken;
  • zorgt voor structuur en dagritme;
  • signaleert spanningen en handelt volgens gemaakte afspraken;
  • werkt samen met collega’s en behandelaren;
  • denkt mee over de ontwikkeling van de nieuwe afdeling.

Wie ben jij?

Je bent een stabiele en betrokken professional die rust en voorspelbaarheid brengt in het dagelijks leven van bewoners. Je weet hoe belangrijk kleine stappen zijn en hebt geduld om daar samen naartoe te werken.

Daarnaast:

  • blijf je kalm in spannende of onvoorspelbare situaties;
  • kun je duidelijk grenzen stellen zonder de relatie te verliezen;
  • werk je praktisch en ben je aanwezig op de groep;
  • zie je signalen van spanning of verandering en handel je tijdig;
  • werk je graag samen in een team dat nog in ontwikkeling is;
  • begrijp je dat herstel tijd kost en soms met vallen en opstaan gaat.

Wat breng je mee?

  • MBO-4 of HBO-opleiding Social Work, MWD, verpleegkunde of vergelijkbaar;
  • Affiniteit met psychiatrie;
  • Ervaring binnen GGZ, beschermd wonen, forensische zorg of verslavingszorg is een pré;
  • Kennis van LVB en middelenproblematiek is een plus;
  • Je werkt herstelgericht en bent alert op veiligheid.
