WE ARE HIRING: Assistant Manager – Showroom & Sales

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate, customer-focused, and results-oriented Assistant Manager – Showroom & Sales to lead showroom sales operations and support the sales team in delivering exceptional customer experiences while achieving sales targets. The successful candidate will oversee the complete customer journey from inquiry and consultation to quotation, production coordination, vehicle delivery, and after-sales service while ensuring smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the showroom sales team.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor individual and team KPIs.
  • Conduct daily sales briefings and coaching sessions.
  • Support Sales Executives in closing high-value sales opportunities.
  • Ensure the showroom operates professionally and maintains high presentation standards.
  • Monitor customer service standards and ensure opening and closing procedures are followed.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience from inquiry to vehicle handover.
  • Handle customer escalations and complaints effectively.
  • Monitor after-sales service and warranty support activities.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Review quotations and pricing before submission.
  • Monitor inquiry follow-up activities and appointment conversion rates.
  • Ensure accurate job cards and customer documentation are maintained.
  • Ensure CRM and ERP systems are updated accurately.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, Planning, and Stores teams.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and resolve operational delays.
  • Ensure customers receive regular progress updates.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop sales team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support employee development.
  • Build a positive, customer-focused sales culture.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs and policies.
  • Ensure pricing and discount policies are followed.
  • Monitor quotation accuracy and departmental profitability.
  • Coordinate with the Finance team on customer payments and documentation.

Candidate Profile

  • 3-5 years of experience in showroom sales or sales management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience in automotive, vehicle accessories, luxury retail, construction, engineering, furniture, or premium consumer products industries.
  • Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Sinhala and English.
  • Good computer literacy including Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems.
  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field will be preferred.
