WE ARE HIRING : Co-ordinating Secretary – Sales

Location: Nawala, Sri Lanka

Role Overview

We are seeking a smart, organized, and customer-friendly Co-ordinating Secretary – Sales to support showroom and sales office operations. This role focuses on handling customer inquiries, preparing sales documentation, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth coordination between customers and internal teams in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries over the telephone and assist walk-in showroom customers
  • Check incoming emails and forward to relevant departments or team members
  • Prepare quotations, invoices, final bills, and interim bills using the existing system
  • Maintain accurate sales records and generate periodic reports
  • Prepare and update price lists for Granite, Marble, and Natural Stone products
  • Maintain registers of customers visiting the showroom
  • Maintain customer files, tender files, and related documentation
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely customer service
  • Support day-to-day showroom administration and sales operations

Candidate Profile

  • Passed GCE Ordinary Level Examination
  • Previous experience in sales coordination, administration, or secretarial work is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication skills in English and Sinhala
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and record-keeping abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional appearance and pleasant personality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
