About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Data & AI to lead the organization's enterprise-wide data and artificial intelligence agenda. This role will be responsible for developing and executing the Data & AI strategy, driving data-driven decision-making, fostering innovation, and delivering measurable business value through advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in enterprise data management, analytics, digital transformation, and AI leadership, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and driving organizational growth through data-driven innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the enterprise Data & AI strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Lead and oversee data architecture, data engineering, business intelligence, advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives.
  • Establish and strengthen data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
  • Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making and analytics capabilities across all business functions.
  • Identify and implement AI-driven solutions that create measurable business value and operational efficiencies.
  • Oversee the management, optimization, and performance of enterprise data platforms and AI technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for innovation and data-driven transformation.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Data & AI team.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and data excellence throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Information Management, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Management, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, or related technology domains.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Data and AI initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in data architecture, data governance, advanced analytics, machine learning, cloud platforms, and AI technologies.
  • Experience designing and implementing data-driven business strategies and transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing high-performing technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value and actionable insights.
