About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Outbound Leisure Travel to lead a high-performing outbound travel division. This is a leadership role responsible for driving commercial success, operational excellence, customer experience, and business growth within the leisure travel segment.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of international travel markets, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to develop innovative travel offerings that meet evolving customer needs while delivering sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all operational, commercial, and service functions within the outbound leisure travel division.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to achieve revenue, profitability, and market growth targets.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with global tour operators, airlines, destination management companies (DMCs), and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging travel trends and customer preferences to develop innovative and market-responsive travel products.
  • Drive commercial performance through effective planning, execution, and performance management.
  • Inspire, mentor, and lead teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Ensure service excellence and operational efficiency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement growth strategies.
  • Monitor industry developments and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in leisure travel management, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of international travel markets, destination management, supplier networks, and customer expectations.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and commercial performance.
  • Experience developing and maintaining strategic relationships with international suppliers and travel partners.
  • Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and achieving ambitious business targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and business performance metrics.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive long-term growth.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding travel experiences and customer satisfaction.
