WE ARE HIRING: Key Account Manager / Assistant Sales Manager

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager / Assistant Sales Manager to manage strategic customer accounts, drive business growth, and strengthen client relationships within the ICT, ELV, and technology solutions sector.

The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and account management experience, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to identify new business opportunities while ensuring exceptional customer service and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow key customer accounts while maintaining strong long-term client relationships.
  • Identify new business opportunities and achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations, proposals, and commercial documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate customer databases, account information, and sales reports.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and business reviews.
  • Develop and implement account growth strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on customer inquiries and project requirements.
  • Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients and business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification in Sales or Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related role.
  • Experience within the ICT, ELV, technology, or engineering solutions industry is preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools.
  • Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Valid driving licence will be an added advantage.
