The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Azure Solution Architect based in Canada.

This is a senior remote consulting role focused on architecting secure, scalable, and reliable corporate applications across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. You will assess complex business and technical requirements and translate them into practical cloud architecture and implementation recommendations. The role combines cloud infrastructure, security, governance, data platforms, and cost optimization with emerging artificial intelligence use cases. You will help shape solutions that securely connect internal knowledge, documentation, and approved external information while protecting sensitive intellectual property. Working closely with customer stakeholders and technical specialists, you will influence both near-term implementation decisions and longer-term platform roadmaps. This is an opportunity to contribute to sophisticated digital transformation initiatives while operating in a collaborative, autonomous, and technology-focused environment.

Accountabilities

  • Assess business and technical requirements for new corporate applications and platforms built on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric, translating them into practical architectural recommendations.
  • Design and recommend secure, scalable, and reliable deployment architectures for internal business platforms and artificial intelligence-enabled solutions.
  • Evaluate and refine production architecture proposals involving PostgreSQL 16, pgvector, Neo4j, Docker, and modern containerized deployment models.
  • Advise on cloud infrastructure, security, governance, identity, access management, and cost optimization within enterprise Microsoft cloud environments.
  • Contribute to the architecture of a secure R&D artificial intelligence assistant that combines internal knowledge, quality documentation, SharePoint content, and approved external publications.
  • Define solution patterns that protect confidential know-how and intellectual property while enabling accurate, secure, and reliable access to technical information.
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders and technical specialists to develop implementation plans, platform recommendations, architecture decisions, and future technology roadmaps.
  • Identify opportunities to improve products, processes, and solution architectures through proactive analysis and creative technical recommendations.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least five years of relevant professional experience.
  • Bring senior-level experience in Microsoft Azure architecture, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise solution design.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of application architecture, cloud security, governance, identity and access management, and cost management within Microsoft cloud environments.
  • Have experience designing solutions involving PostgreSQL, containerized deployments, and modern cloud platform architecture patterns.
  • Possess a solid understanding of Microsoft Fabric, data platforms, and architectures supporting analytics, knowledge retrieval, or artificial intelligence-driven applications.
  • Understand how to protect sensitive data, confidential information, and intellectual property within enterprise technology environments.
  • Demonstrate strong consulting, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into clear and practical technical recommendations.
  • Be customer-oriented, communicative, positive, and comfortable working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Show strong logical reasoning, problem-solving, organization, and attention to quality while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Be responsible, autonomous, resourceful, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative in an evolving technology environment.
  • Be authorized to work in Canada and able to perform the role remotely from within Canada.
  • Fully remote work from within Canada, providing flexibility while supporting a customer-focused consulting environment.
  • Opportunity to work on large-scale digital transformation and cloud architecture initiatives using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Exposure to advanced artificial intelligence, knowledge retrieval, data platforms, and secure enterprise AI solutions.
  • Opportunity to work with modern technologies including PostgreSQL, pgvector, Neo4j, Docker, and Microsoft cloud services.
  • Collaboration with experienced technology specialists and customer stakeholders on complex architecture and implementation challenges.
  • A collaborative, transparent, and people-focused environment built around trust, open communication, cooperation, and professional growth.
  • Opportunities to develop expertise through challenging projects involving emerging technologies and evolving enterprise platforms.
  • Strong emphasis on work-life balance, autonomy, and creating an environment where professionals can perform at their best.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
