Overview
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead to oversee and strengthen recruitment operations across the United States within a global technology and IT services environment. In this leadership role, you will manage a team of recruiters and sourcing specialists while developing strategies that attract, engage, and retain exceptional talent. You will work closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to align recruitment priorities with business objectives and evolving workforce needs. Through data-driven decision-making, performance measurement, and continuous process improvement, you will enhance hiring efficiency and deliver an outstanding candidate and stakeholder experience. You will also shape employer branding initiatives and develop an early careers strategy that supports a diverse, sustainable talent pipeline. Accountabilities
- Lead the U.S. recruitment team: Oversee the day-to-day activities of recruiters and sourcing specialists, providing direction, coaching, and support to build a high-performing and collaborative team.
- Develop recruitment strategies: Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements, align recruitment priorities with organizational goals, and deliver effective hiring strategies across multiple functions.
- Build strategic stakeholder partnerships: Act as the primary talent acquisition contact for U.S.-based hiring managers, establishing trusted relationships and ensuring alignment on recruitment objectives, timelines, and expectations.
- Drive data-informed recruitment: Develop and implement recruitment performance metrics, analyze hiring data, and provide actionable market intelligence and insights to leadership and hiring managers.
- Establish performance frameworks: Define and monitor key recruitment indicators to evaluate team effectiveness, improve hiring outcomes, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Optimize recruitment processes and tools: Identify opportunities to streamline sourcing, selection, and hiring workflows while implementing best practices, effective recruitment technologies, and scalable operating procedures.
- Lead inclusive hiring initiatives: Design and execute recruitment and selection processes that align with diversity and inclusion objectives, promote equitable opportunities, and support a broad range of candidate backgrounds.
- Develop an early careers strategy: Create initiatives to attract emerging talent, establish pathways for professional development, and build sustainable pipelines that support long-term workforce planning and internal growth.
- Strengthen employer branding: Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the organization's employer value proposition, improve talent market visibility, and attract candidates who align with its culture and values.
- Deliver an exceptional recruitment experience: Ensure candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders receive timely communication, professional support, and a consistent, high-quality experience throughout the hiring process.
- Manage recruitment projects: Lead strategic talent acquisition initiatives, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and oversee implementation to ensure projects achieve their objectives.
- Maintain compliance and best practices: Ensure recruitment activities reflect applicable North American employment and equal opportunity legislation, internal policies, and recognized professional standards.
- Extensive recruitment leadership experience: At least 10 years of experience in people management and recruitment leadership, ideally within a global technology, IT services, or technically focused organization.
- Proven team management capabilities: Demonstrated success leading, developing, and motivating recruitment teams, setting clear performance expectations, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills: Experience developing recruitment performance metrics, interpreting talent acquisition data, using recruiting tools effectively, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strategic talent acquisition expertise: A track record of developing and executing recruitment strategies aligned with business priorities, workforce requirements, and changing talent market conditions.
- Recruitment technology and process improvement: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and recruitment technologies, alongside the ability to improve workflows and establish scalable best practices.
- Project management experience: Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver recruitment initiatives, manage competing priorities, and drive projects through to completion.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to negotiate, influence senior stakeholders, manage expectations, and build productive working relationships.
- Creative and adaptable mindset: A willingness to experiment with new approaches, challenge established practices, and respond effectively to evolving business and recruitment needs.
- Global recruitment experience: Experience working across international markets, collaborating with geographically distributed teams, or supporting recruitment in a global business environment is preferred.
