The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Youth Development Sr. Training and TA Specialist based in the United States.

About the Role

The Youth Development Sr. Training and TA Specialist plays a key role in strengthening the delivery of evidence-based youth development programs through training, coaching, and technical assistance. This position supports facilitators, program teams, and community partners in implementing high-quality, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed practices. You will lead training initiatives, develop practical resources, and help teams translate program models into consistent, effective services. Working closely with program leadership and implementation partners, you will monitor program fidelity, assess training needs, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. The role combines subject matter expertise, relationship-building, and hands-on implementation support to enhance program quality and outcomes for children, youth, and families. This is a full-time, remote opportunity for a collaborative professional passionate about youth development, capacity-building, and community impact.

Accountabilities

  • Training, Coaching, and Technical Assistance: Lead training and technical assistance initiatives that strengthen the implementation of evidence-based youth development programs. Coordinate facilitator onboarding, skills development, refresher sessions, coaching cycles, and ongoing implementation support.
  • Program Implementation and Quality Improvement: Support implementation monitoring through observations, fidelity assessments, check-ins, and structured feedback. Identify strengths, barriers, and opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations to program leadership and implementation partners.
  • Curriculum and Resource Development: Contribute to the development, review, and refinement of training materials, facilitator guides, implementation tools, and technical assistance resources. Ensure materials align with evidence-based practices, developmental needs, cultural relevance, accessibility, and trauma-informed principles.
  • Implementation Fidelity and Best Practices: Promote consistent delivery of approved curricula and program models across teams and partner organizations. Maintain relevant certifications and up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based curricula and implementation standards.
  • Collaboration and Program Alignment: Partner with department leadership, program teams, and community organizations to align training and technical assistance activities with program objectives. Facilitate cross-program learning and share effective practices that improve service delivery.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, coaching activities, technical assistance provided, fidelity findings, and improvement recommendations. Communicate key findings and priorities to the Senior Program Director of Health and Families to support informed decision-making.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in education, curriculum and instruction, public health, social work, human services, youth development, organizational development, or a related field is required. A master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • Professional Experience: At least five years of experience designing, delivering, or evaluating curriculum-based training, technical assistance, or professional development for programs serving children, youth, or families.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices, positive youth development, prevention programming, implementation support, and adult learning methodologies.
  • Training and Facilitation: Experience leading curriculum implementation, facilitator onboarding, training sessions, coaching cycles, communities of practice, or train-the-trainer initiatives.
  • Quality Improvement: Ability to assess program implementation through observations, fidelity tools, performance feedback, training data, and continuous quality improvement processes.
  • Curriculum and Resource Development: Ability to translate complex program requirements into practical guidance, implementation tools, training materials, and actionable recommendations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, coaching, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support multiple initiatives and work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Cultural Responsiveness: Experience developing or supporting culturally responsive and trauma-informed youth development services is preferred.
  • Additional Preferred Experience: Five or more years of experience as a curriculum, training, technical assistance, or implementation expert for evidence-based or evidence-informed youth-serving programs; five or more years working with Latino faith-based organizations; and at least three years implementing the Love Notes evidence-based curriculum.
  • Professional Commitment: A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to capacity-building, continuous learning, implementation consistency, and program improvement. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of required tests and background checks.
  • Salary: $70,000 annually.
  • Remote Work: Remote working arrangements for eligible positions.
  • Medical and Dental Insurance: 95% of premiums covered by the employer and 5% by the employee for individual or family coverage.
  • Vision Insurance: 100% of premiums covered by the employer for individual or family coverage.
  • Retirement Savings: 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions of up to 4%.
  • Paid Time Off: Generous vacation allowance, depending on the program and position.
  • Paid Sick Leave and Holidays: Nine sick days and 11 paid holidays.
  • Disability Coverage: Employer-provided short-term and long-term disability insurance at no cost to employees.
  • Employee Assistance Program: Access to resources and support for employee well-being.
  • Work Equipment: A company-provided laptop and/or cellphone when required for the position.
  • Employee Engagement: Opportunities to participate in meaningful employee engagement programs.
  • Mission-Driven Environment: The opportunity to contribute to youth development, strengthen community-based organizations, and improve outcomes for children and families.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
