  • Assist with the installation and setting of new compressor units and perform start-up and testing activities.
  • Complete mechanical and electrical assignments related to natural gas compressor systems and associated equipment.
  • Maintain accurate daily maintenance reports, expense reports, timesheets, and other required documentation.

  • Provide professional customer service while completing assigned field work and ensure customer needs and service-quality expectations are addressed.
  • Follow safety procedures, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and management direction while taking ownership of assigned work.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED with 3–5+ years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrate practical knowledge of machines, tools, materials, methods, and equipment used in the construction, maintenance, and repair of natural gas compression units.
  • Have experience with Murphy EICS, Centurion, and Altronic systems.
  • Have experience with Ariel, Gemini, Ajax, Caterpillar 3500, 379, 398, 399, and 3300 series engines and compressors, with Caterpillar 3500 experience preferred.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and be able to work within the designated service area.
  • Be a motivated self-starter who can work independently and efficiently with limited supervision.
  • Be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and other technical documentation.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document work clearly and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong customer-service skills, including the ability to assess customer needs, meet service standards, and evaluate customer satisfaction.
  • Be able to follow instructions, manage commitments, complete assignments on time, and communicate proactively when an alternative plan is needed.
  • Be adaptable in changing work environments and able to manage competing priorities, delays, unexpected events, and emergency service situations.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including gathering information, evaluating results, identifying root causes, and developing effective solutions.
  • Have adequate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Be based in Carthage, Texas, or the surrounding area and live within one hour of the designated service area, as this is not a rotation position.
  • Hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications.
  • Paid time off.
  • Medical insurance.
  • Prescription coverage.
  • Dental insurance.
  • Vision insurance.
  • Life insurance and disability plans.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
