The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Intermediate Full Stack Engineer based in Canada.

This is an opportunity to join a growing engineering team building software that modernizes industrial manufacturing workflows. You will develop and maintain distributed applications spanning Angular front-end services and .NET back-end systems. The role combines hands-on development with architecture, testing, security, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with Product and UX teams to transform customer needs and Figma designs into reliable features. AI-assisted development tools are part of the engineering workflow, with strong emphasis on code review and engineering quality. You will contribute to microservice architecture, domain modeling, APIs, databases, and scalable cloud-connected solutions. The position is fully remote and offers the chance to work on technology used by fabrication businesses internationally.

Accountabilities

  • Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain distributed software services across Angular and .NET applications.
  • Build modular, secure, reliable, observable, and maintainable services and components.
  • Apply Domain-Driven Design principles to model business domains and establish appropriate microservice boundaries.
  • Participate in feature scoping with Product and engineering teams, translating plain-language requirements into technical designs, tasks, and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify gaps, ambiguities, and technical risks in requirements before implementation begins.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and review while personally validating every change for correctness, security, and maintainability.
  • Develop unit and integration tests as part of feature delivery and actively participate in peer code reviews.
  • Contribute to front-end and back-end architecture decisions and technical direction.
  • Collaborate with UX teams using Figma designs to deliver intuitive, customer-focused experiences.
  • Work with developers and cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and support continuous product improvement.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional full-stack software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Angular, including component architecture, RxJS, and state management.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, with experience building and maintaining production applications.
  • Solid experience designing and implementing REST APIs and working with SQL databases, including schema design and queries.
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Claude Code, or similar solutions within an IDE to support development, testing, and code review.
  • Ability to translate written feature specifications into working software while proactively clarifying incomplete or ambiguous requirements.
  • Strong code-review skills, including the ability to identify defects and security or maintainability concerns in both human- and AI-generated code.
  • Working knowledge of secure development practices, including OWASP Top 10 principles, authentication and authorization, input validation, and secrets management.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, organization, and ability to deliver efficiently in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including clear pull-request descriptions and technical documentation.
  • Experience with Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, Node.js, or cloud PaaS solutions is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Figma, AI/LLM APIs, AI-powered application features, MCP or other agentic development tooling is an asset.
  • Knowledge of CAD, 3D modeling, manufacturing, or industrial software is considered an additional advantage.
  • Competitive salary of $80,000–$90,000 CAD per year.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Paid sick and personal days each year.
  • $2,000 CAD technology stipend.
  • Fully remote work environment across Canada.
  • Company-wide holiday closure during the Christmas period.
  • Opportunity to work on augmented-reality and industrial software used by fabrication businesses internationally.
  • Collaborative engineering environment focused on modern development practices, AI-assisted tooling, and continuous technical improvement.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
