This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Developer based in India.

This is a hands-on Salesforce development role focused on building scalable solutions across Quote-to-Cash, revenue operations, service processes, and enterprise workflows. You will work extensively with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, APIs, and integrations to support critical business processes. The role combines strong Salesforce engineering expertise with a deep understanding of quoting, pricing, contracting, renewals, and billing handoffs. You will also work in an AI-native delivery environment, using modern AI tools to accelerate development, prototyping, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting. Collaboration will span architects, consultants, business users, QA teams, project managers, and other technical specialists. This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced Salesforce professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges and delivering maintainable, high-quality enterprise solutions.

Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable Salesforce solutions across Quote-to-Cash, revenue operations, service processes, and broader business workflows.
  • Build and enhance CPQ and revenue solutions using Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, Agentforce Revenue, or comparable platforms, supporting quoting, pricing, approvals, contracting, amendments, renewals, and billing handoffs.
  • Customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, triggers, validation rules, custom objects, approval processes, and other platform capabilities.
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into reliable Salesforce solutions that follow platform best practices and support long-term scalability and maintainability.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and billing, finance, and enterprise systems, including platforms such as NetSuite SuiteBilling, ZoneCo, or similar technologies.
  • Design and support Salesforce API integrations using REST, SOAP, platform events, batch Apex, scheduled Apex, queueable Apex, and appropriate data synchronization patterns.
  • Work with middleware and integration technologies such as MuleSoft, Workato, or comparable platforms to connect Salesforce with external systems.
  • Manage development and release processes using version control, Salesforce DX, CI/CD, sandbox environments, metadata deployments, and release management practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, investigate root causes, optimize platform performance, and implement solutions that maintain reliability and scalability.
  • Apply Salesforce security and governance best practices across sharing models, profiles, permission sets, data models, governor limits, automation, and access controls.
  • Incorporate AI-native development practices, including LLM-assisted coding, rapid prototyping, prompt engineering, AI-assisted documentation, and AI-supported configuration and testing.
  • Use conversational AI workflows to generate, refine, test, debug, and explain Apex, Flow logic, LWC, integrations, APIs, and solution prototypes while maintaining appropriate engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, business users, QA teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical options, constraints, risks, and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to solution design, technical decision-making, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing, including mentoring junior developers where appropriate.
  • 5+ years of professional Salesforce experience, with strong hands-on development and implementation expertise.
  • Strong development skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Salesforce APIs, integrations, triggers, custom objects, validation rules, and automation.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or comparable Quote-to-Cash platforms, with a strong understanding of quoting, pricing, approvals, contracting, amendments, renewals, and billing processes.
  • Experience implementing and supporting Salesforce Core products such as Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, including security and sharing, profiles, permission sets, data modeling, governor limits, deployment processes, and platform automation.
  • Experience developing REST and SOAP integrations, working with platform events, batch and scheduled Apex, queueable Apex, and enterprise data synchronization patterns.
  • Familiarity with middleware technologies such as MuleSoft, Workato, or similar integration platforms.
  • Experience with version control, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, sandbox management, metadata deployments, and release management.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with billing or finance platforms such as NetSuite SuiteBilling, ZoneCo, or comparable systems is highly valuable.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI-native development practices, including LLM-assisted development, prompt engineering, rapid prototyping, AI-assisted documentation, and AI-supported configuration or code generation.
  • Ability to use AI tools responsibly while maintaining strong engineering discipline, code quality, security, testing standards, and Salesforce best practices.
  • Salesforce certifications are preferred, including Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Salesforce Administrator, or Platform App Builder.
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect certification is an advantage but not required.
  • Knowledge of PSA capabilities is a plus.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements and solution designs into high-quality technical deliverables while considering maintainability, scalability, and long-term business needs.
  • Experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to team knowledge-sharing initiatives is an advantage.
