- Monitor and optimize memory, I/O, wait events, and other database and infrastructure-level performance factors.
- Proactively identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks.
- Perform database cloning using RMAN Duplicate, Data Pump, and SQL Server backup/restore-based approaches.
- Execute regular database refreshes between production, UAT, and development environments, including data masking where required.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Oracle DB Links and SQL Server Linked Servers for cross-database and cross-platform connectivity.
- Manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and native SQL Server backup and restore tools, validating recovery readiness.
- Support database migrations from on-premises environments to cloud, cloud-to-cloud migrations, and migrations between SQL Server and Oracle where required.
- Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, disaster recovery runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, cloud, and client teams on database-related requirements and initiatives.
- Participate in on-call and rotational production support as needed.
- 9+ years of hands-on database administration experience with strong expertise in both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and client teams.
- Ability to independently own and drive disaster recovery and performance initiatives.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced production-support environments.

- Exposure to Exadata or Autonomous Database.
- Scripting experience with Shell, PowerShell, or Python for DBA automation.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as OEM, SolarWinds, or Zabbix.
- Experience working in managed services or multi-client support environments.
- Remote working arrangement.
- Full-time salaried employment.
- Opportunity to work across Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, OCI, and AWS environments.
- Broad technical ownership spanning database administration, disaster recovery, cloud infrastructure, migrations, and performance engineering.
- Exposure to complex production environments and cross-functional technical teams.
