The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Director, Pricing Operations based in the United States.

This is a senior leadership opportunity to build and transform a centralized pricing operations function within a fast-moving B2B technology environment. You will establish the operating model, governance structure, team, and cadence needed to make pricing decisions more consistent and responsive. The role combines strategic pricing leadership with hands-on organizational transformation, competitive intelligence, and operational discipline. You will partner closely with sales, finance, product, and executive stakeholders to align pricing decisions with market dynamics and business priorities. A key focus will be using AI-assisted capabilities to improve competitive pricing analysis, discount management, and market monitoring. You will also maintain strong alignment across related business areas while creating clear visibility into pricing performance and emerging market shifts. This is a remote role with broad organizational influence and significant scope to shape how pricing operations evolve.

Accountabilities

  • Design and build a centralized Pricing Operations function, consolidating pricing activities across teams and establishing clear ownership for strategy, analytics, and deal support.
  • Define and implement a segment-aware pricing cadence that replaces episodic reviews with structured, recurring decision cycles tailored to business needs.
  • Establish a pricing council and governance framework that provides clear rationale, ownership, communication, and accountability for approved pricing changes.
  • Lead the development of AI-assisted capabilities for competitor pricing analysis, discount analysis, discount-depth monitoring, and market alerts.
  • Provide senior leadership with timely visibility into competitor pricing changes, market disruption, and other developments that may affect pricing decisions.
  • Build a strong cross-functional partnership with Network Security and other relevant teams to maintain alignment across business areas.
  • Define and monitor operational metrics such as cadence adherence, time from pricing decision to communication, and discount discipline.
  • Lead organizational change by establishing new processes, operating rhythms, and ways of working across distributed teams.
  • Build and develop a high-performing pricing operations team, establishing its structure, responsibilities, and operating rhythm from the ground up.
  • Proven experience building or transforming a pricing, revenue operations, or deal desk function within a B2B SaaS or technology organization, ideally in cybersecurity or another subscription-based environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading organizational change, including centralizing distributed functions, introducing governance structures, and guiding stakeholders through operational transitions.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategy, discount governance, competitive pricing intelligence, and market analysis.
  • Experience using data-driven and AI-assisted tools to monitor competitor pricing, discounting patterns, and market developments.
  • Strong people leadership capabilities, with experience building teams and establishing effective operating models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create alignment and build support among sales, finance, and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to design pricing approaches that adapt to different customer segments and channels while balancing speed, consistency, and commercial stability.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and operational thinking, with the ability to translate market information into actionable pricing processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Base salary range of $190,000–$316,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for additional compensation, including bonus opportunities.
  • Comprehensive employee benefits package.
  • Remote-first working environment, with remote work serving as the primary model for most roles.
  • Employee-led diversity and inclusion networks focused on community, education, and advocacy.
  • Annual charitable initiatives, fundraising programs, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Global sustainability initiatives supporting environmental responsibility.
  • Employee fitness and trivia activities.
  • Global wellbeing days and regular wellbeing webinars and training.
  • Workplace accommodations available throughout the recruitment process where required.
  • Employment opportunities are designed to support diverse perspectives and an inclusive workplace.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
