The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Implementation Manager based in the United States.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Implementation Manager to lead complex hardware and software deployments for strategic customers across the United States. In this role, you will oversee the entire implementation lifecycle, ensuring seamless installations, effective training, and successful adoption of integrated technology solutions. You will work closely with enterprise customers, internal teams, and external partners to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction. Your expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence will help optimize deployment processes and drive measurable improvements in customer outcomes. You will play a critical role in connecting technical delivery with real-world operational needs, particularly in environments where technology can improve safety, care, and efficiency. As part of a growing, mission-driven organization, you will have the opportunity to influence implementation strategies, improve scalable processes, and build lasting customer relationships. This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining strategic oversight with hands-on execution.

Accountabilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects: Own multiple deployments simultaneously, from sales handoff and initial scoping through planning, hardware and software installation, training, and post-implementation support.
  • Manage project planning and delivery: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and milestones to ensure implementations are completed on schedule, within budget, and in line with customer expectations and key performance indicators.
  • Oversee deployment execution: Coordinate hardware and software delivery, installation activities, site readiness, operational dependencies, and issue resolution to ensure a smooth implementation experience across customer facilities.
  • Manage strategic customer relationships: Serve as the primary operational contact for key stakeholders throughout implementation, maintaining clear communication, setting expectations, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams: Collaborate with sales, go-to-market, operations, product support, clinical teams, and external contractors to align resources, address implementation challenges, and deliver solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Deliver effective training and adoption: Organize and execute customer training to support successful product use, operational readiness, and a smooth transition from implementation to ongoing customer success management.
  • Optimize implementation processes: Identify opportunities to improve deployment efficiency, consistency, scalability, and quality by applying lean methodologies and tools such as value-stream mapping.
  • Monitor project performance and mitigate risks: Track milestones, costs, quality, and customer satisfaction, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Support continuous improvement: Document lessons learned, refine implementation playbooks, and contribute to standardized processes that improve delivery outcomes across multiple customer sites.
  • Travel to customer locations: Visit facilities across the United States as needed to oversee deployments, support customer engagements, and ensure successful execution on-site.
  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive implementation experience: At least eight years of experience in implementation management, project management, professional services, or a related field, including responsibility for strategic or enterprise accounts.
  • Hardware and software deployment expertise: Proven experience managing complex technology implementations involving both hardware and software, ideally within the healthcare technology, health-tech, or broader high-tech sectors.
  • Strong project management capabilities: Demonstrated success delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with defined quality and performance objectives. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred.
  • Lean methodology knowledge: Familiarity with lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies, including the ability to identify inefficiencies, map workflows, and implement practical process improvements.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with customers, senior stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Operational and organizational excellence: Excellent planning, prioritization, problem-solving, and risk management skills, with the ability to manage several concurrent projects across different locations.
  • Customer-focused mindset: A commitment to delivering positive customer experiences, understanding operational requirements, resolving challenges proactively, and supporting successful technology adoption.
  • Adaptability and ownership: The ability to operate independently, make sound decisions in a changing environment, and take responsibility for implementation outcomes from initial planning through final handover.
  • Willingness to travel: Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including on short notice, to support customer deployments and implementation activities across the United States.
  • Competitive compensation: Annual base salary ranging from $140,000 to $160,000, with variable compensation where applicable. Final compensation depends on work location, relevant experience, skills, and internal equity.
  • Equity opportunities: Receive equity, providing an opportunity to share in the long-term value and impact of the organization.
  • Health and wellness coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with mental health resources and employee assistance programs for eligible U.S.-based employees.
  • Retirement and financial benefits: Access to a 401(k) retirement plan, health savings account (HSA) and flexible spending account (FSA) options, and company-paid life and disability insurance.
  • Flexible paid time off: Flexible PTO, five paid sick days annually, company-observed holidays, and designated company-wide recharge periods.
  • Parental and family support: Up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for bonding, additional leave for birthing parents, fertility and family-building benefits, and paid caregiver and bereavement leave.
  • Remote and hybrid work support: Work arrangements based on role and location, with home-office, internet, or phone reimbursement where applicable.
  • Professional development and recognition: Semiannual performance reviews designed to recognize contributions, support career progression, and encourage continuous growth.
  • AI tools and training: Access to advanced AI tools and company-wide training to improve productivity, strengthen professional skills, and support smarter ways of working.
  • Meaningful mission and impact: Contribute to technology solutions designed to improve safety, connection, dignity, and quality of life for older adults.
  • Opportunity to influence operations: Help shape implementation strategies, improve deployment processes, and build scalable practices within a growing organization.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
