The posting

At Nimber, we're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a challenging project within the banking sector, focused on the transformation of a critical Identity and Reference Data Management platform.

You'll be part of an Agile team responsible for modernising a centralised identity repository, ensuring reliable data management, seamless integration with other applications and continuous improvement of business processes.

Working closely with Product Owners, developers, QA teams and business stakeholders, you'll play a key role in translating business needs into effective technical solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Gather, analyse and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories.
  • Work closely with development teams to review and validate proposed solutions.
  • Define acceptance criteria using BDD (Behaviour-Driven Development) and Gherkin.
  • Design and execute functional tests to ensure solution quality before production releases.
  • Validate user interfaces, APIs and data flows across integrated systems.
  • Support the rollout of new features, assisting users and support teams during implementation.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner on project documentation, governance activities and Agile ceremonies.
  • Monitor existing functionalities in production, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to the ongoing transformation of identity and reference data management systems.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 5 years of professional experience, including solid experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in Agile environments.
  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of BDD methodologies and Gherkin syntax for defining acceptance criteria.
  • Hands-on experience with functional analysis, UI testing and API testing.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and Postman.
  • Good understanding of SQL, data structures and data management principles.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and system integrations.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of French.
  • Previous experience in banking, financial services or identity management systems.
  • Familiarity with reference data management and data governance.
  • Availability for occasional international travel.

The Person We're Looking For

Beyond technical expertise, we're looking for someone who:

  • Has strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Enjoys collaborating across different teams and business areas.
  • Takes ownership, challenges assumptions and proactively identifies improvements.
  • Is curious, adaptable and motivated by continuous learning.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.
