Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Planning:

  • Ensure compliance with ZATCA tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax, and transfer pricing.
  • Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and manage tax audits.
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide strategic tax planning insights.

Accounting & Financial Reporting:

  • Oversee general ledger activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and SOCPA standards.
  • Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting.
  • Ensure proper recording of revenue, expenses, and capital investments.

Audit & Compliance:

  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and company financial policies.
  • Implement accounting best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Team Supervision & Coordination:

  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring professional development and performance management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (CPA, CMA, or SOCPA certification preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in tax and accounting, preferably in the oil & gas sector.
  • Strong knowledge of ZATCA tax laws, IFRS, and SOCPA standards.
  • Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
