Buscamos un Project Engineer (PE) para incorporarse en una empresa líder en el sector de las energías renovables, especializada en soluciones tecnológicas para la valorización energética de residuos y el desarrollo de infraestructuras sostenibles.

UBICACIÓN: Madrid, España.

SECTOR: Waste-to-energy.

La compañía opera a nivel internacional, con oficinas en Norteamérica, Europa, África y Asia, y proyectos y tecnologías implementadas en múltiples instalaciones de recuperación de recursos en todo el mundo.

FUNCIÓN Y RESPONSABILIDADES

Los Project Engineers reportan operativamente a los Project Managers (PM) y son responsables de coordinar las actividades de ingeniería asignadas para completar el diseño del proyecto cumpliendo el cronograma y presupuesto establecidos, asegurando la corrección y completitud de la información proporcionada.

  • Entender el alcance del trabajo, los requisitos contractuales y los límites del suministro.
  • Coordinar todas las actividades de ingeniería para completar el diseño del proyecto.
  • Cumplir o mejorar el cronograma y presupuesto del proyecto asignado a ingeniería.
  • Asegurar que se cumplan los estándares de calidad.
  • Identificar y proponer mejoras rentables en el diseño.
  • Responder de manera rápida y flexible a preguntas urgentes de PMs y del departamento comercial.
  • Liderar al equipo de ingeniería a nivel de proyecto, incluyendo recursos internos y externos.
  • Organizar la lista general de documentos de acuerdo con el PM y la disponibilidad de recursos.
  • Planificar y monitorear el progreso de las actividades de ingeniería según el cronograma definido.
  • Actualizar regularmente al PM sobre el estado del diseño y del presupuesto, identificando posibles problemas y planificando soluciones.
  • Proporcionar al PM las especificaciones técnicas y documentos de licitación necesarios para la adquisición de materiales, calculados según los datos de diseño.
  • Coordinarse técnicamente con los PEs del cliente bajo acuerdo con el PM responsable.
  • Gestionar la relación con proveedores externos y subcontratistas, fijando términos de suministro y coordinando entregas.
  • Revisar documentos de licencias e incorporar condiciones de permisos.
  • Convocar reuniones regulares de revisión de diseño con el equipo de proyecto.
  • Elaborar evaluaciones de riesgos para cada proyecto y garantizar el cumplimiento de normativas locales.
  • Organizar reuniones semanales para actualizar avances de ingeniería y resolver incidencias.
  • Apoyar al site manager y subcontratistas/proveedores en cuestiones técnicas relacionadas con el diseño.
  • Organizar reuniones quincenales para presentar mejoras técnicas y soluciones constructivas, involucrando al Project Engineering Leader (PEL) cuando sea necesario.
  • Mantener informado al PEL sobre el estado del proyecto, presupuesto y problemas que requieran acciones de gestión superior.

RESPONSABILIDADES DE SEGURIDAD Y CALIDAD

  • Los PE son responsables de la aplicación rigurosa de las normas y estándares de la empresa sobre actividades de ingeniería, precisión de la información y cumplimiento de los requisitos contractuales.
  • Durante todo el ciclo de diseño, los Project Engineers evaluarán los riesgos para la salud y seguridad y aplicarán acciones para eliminarlos, mitigarlos o informar a todos los involucrados sobre riesgos residuales.

REQUISITOS, EXPERIENCIA Y COMPETENCIAS TÉCNICAS

  • Título universitario o técnico en Ingeniería Civil, Ingeniería Mecánica, Ingeniería Eléctrica o Ingeniería Química.
  • Experiencia mínima de 2 años como Project Engineer en el sector de plantas industriales.
  • Conocimiento de especificaciones contractuales y límites de suministro en diseño de plantas mecánicas complejas.
  • Bases de diseño mecánico/hidráulico, eléctrico y sistemas de control.
  • Conocimiento de normativas nacionales e internacionales en tratamiento de residuos, digestión anaerobia y tratamiento de aguas residuales.
  • Experiencia en la gestión de relaciones con todos los recursos implicados en el diseño de proyectos.

Se valorará:

  • Competencias específicas en digestión anaerobia, tratamiento de residuos y aguas residuales.

SOFT SKILLS

  • Sentido de prioridad y comprensión del impacto de su trabajo en otras funciones.
  • Conocimiento básico de gestión de proyectos y cómo las decisiones de ingeniería afectan economía y cronograma.
  • Comprensión de estrategias de venta y su influencia en procesos de ingeniería.
  • Familiaridad con estrategias de compras, especialmente para productos de alto valor o críticos.
  • Capacidad para relacionarse con colegas, adquirir información útil y mejorar la calidad del trabajo.
  • Capacidad para organizar tareas según prioridades.
