Ondernemers bouwen onze economie. Toch krijgen veel ondernemers vandaag moeilijk toegang tot financiering via traditionele banken.

Daarom zoeken we een Head of Accounting die niet alleen de cijfers beheerst, maar ook de structuur bouwt waarop die groei kan rusten.

🎯 Jouw impact

Als Head of Accounting ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de boekhoudkundige integriteit van onze entiteiten.

Je rol is dubbel:

👉 Discipline Je zorgt dat cijfers kloppen. Altijd. Je bewaakt closing, kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid.

👉 Bouw & transformatie Je zet structuur waar vandaag nog chaos zit. Je bouwt processen die schaalbaar zijn voor morgen.

Je rapporteert aan de Head of Finance en werkt nauw samen met het management.

🧠 De uitdaging

Je komt terecht in een organisatie:

  • in volle groei
  • met internationale ambities
  • waar processen nog niet altijd op punt staan

👉 Vandaag:

  • 2 entiteiten (BE + FR)
  • verschillende systemen (Exact Online / Odoo)
  • beperkte structuur rond: AR treasury internal controls

👉 Morgen:

  • holdingstructuur
  • consolidatie
  • multi-country setup

Jij bent de persoon die die brug maakt.

🛠️ Wat ga je doen?

Accounting & closing

  • Verantwoordelijk voor maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen
  • Uitbouwen van een fast close proces
  • “First time right” wordt de standaard

Structuur & processen

  • Opzetten van: closing kalender interne controles accounting policies
  • Optimaliseren van bestaande workflows
  • Automatiseren waar mogelijk (ERP, AP/AR flows)

AR / AP / cash

  • Ownership nemen over AR (vandaag een gap)
  • Structuur brengen in cashflow en treasury (op te bouwen)
  • Samenwerken met externe partijen waar nodig

Tax & compliance

  • BTW en vennootschapsbelasting opvolgen
  • Aanspreekpunt voor auditors en fiscus

Future-proofing

  • Voorbereiden op: consolidatie holdingstructuur internationale groei

👤 Wie ben jij?

Ervaring

  • 7–10 jaar ervaring in accounting
  • Achtergrond in een multi-company context is een sterke plus
  • Ervaring in groeiomgevingen / scale-ups is een sterke plus

Skills

  • Sterk analytisch en gestructureerd
  • Je brengt orde in chaos
  • Je kan processen bouwen én verbeteren
  • Je denkt in systemen, niet in Excel-files

Mindset (cruciaal)

  • Hands-on én strategisch
  • Ownership nemen is voor jou vanzelfsprekend
  • Je durft dingen in vraag te stellen
  • Je blijft rustig waar anderen versnellen
