Become the face of one of Auckland's most iconic heritage hotels Located in the heart of Auckland, Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Auckland combines timeless elegance, rich heritage and contemporary comfort to create a distinctive guest experience. Welcoming both business and leisure travellers, the hotel is renowned for its exceptional service, character-filled accommodation and prime city location close to Auckland's leading attractions, dining and entertainment precincts.   We're looking for a professional, friendly and customer-focused Receptionist to join our Front Office team. If you enjoy meeting people, thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in creating memorable guest experiences, we'd love to hear from you. About the Role As the first point of contact for guests, you'll play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming arrival experience. You'll manage check-ins and check-outs, respond to guest enquiries and ensure every interaction reflects the high standards of service that Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Auckland is known for. Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide an exceptional first impression of the hotel Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately Respond to guest enquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions Handle reservations, amendments and room allocation requests Process payments and maintain accurate guest records Assist with guest requests and resolve concerns professionally and promptly Coordinate with housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience Maintain Front Office presentation and operational standards Support the team with administrative and reception duties as required

About You You'll bring:

Previous experience in a customer service, reception, hospitality or front office role Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service Strong organisational skills and attention to detail The ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment A professional and positive attitude Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays

Desirable

Previous hotel reception or front office experience Experience using hotel property management systems Knowledge of Auckland attractions and local tourism offerings Additional language skills
