The posting

Para una importante compañía industrial con operaciones en Latinoamérica, buscamos un/a Gerente Regional EHS, quien tendrá el desafío de liderar la estrategia y gestión de Seguridad, Salud Ocupacional y Medio Ambiente, promoviendo altos estándares y una cultura preventiva en sus diferentes operaciones.

La posición tendrá un rol clave en la definición e implementación de políticas, prácticas y sistemas de gestión, asegurando el cumplimiento de los estándares corporativos y de la normativa aplicable, así como la identificación y gestión anticipada de riesgos asociados a la operación.

Entre sus principales desafíos estará:

  • Liderar la gestión integral de Seguridad, Salud Ocupacional y Medio Ambiente para las distintas operaciones bajo su alcance.
  • Asegurar el cumplimiento de la legislación y requerimientos regulatorios aplicables, promoviendo una gestión preventiva de los riesgos.
  • Impulsar y sostener una cultura de seguridad y cuidado ambiental, movilizando a los diferentes actores de la organización.
  • Liderar funcionalmente a los referentes EHS de las distintas operaciones, asegurando criterios, estándares y prácticas comunes.
  • Interactuar con diversos líderes y áreas corporativas, generando acuerdos y promoviendo la implementación efectiva de las iniciativas de EHS.
  • Gestionar el relacionamiento con autoridades, organismos regulatorios y otros actores externos vinculados a su ámbito de responsabilidad.
  • Participar en proyectos e iniciativas industriales, incorporando desde su diseño los requerimientos de seguridad, salud ocupacional y medio ambiente.

Buscamos profesionales con sólida trayectoria en posiciones de liderazgo EHS dentro de compañías industriales de alta complejidad, idealmente con experiencia gestionando múltiples operaciones o responsabilidades de alcance regional.

Será especialmente relevante contar con experiencia en entornos con altos estándares de seguridad, exigencia regulatoria y gestión ambiental, siendo valorada la experiencia proveniente de industrias como química, petroquímica, u otros sectores industriales de riesgo comparable.

La posición requiere una persona con mirada estratégica, solidez técnica y capacidad para influir y generar convicción, capaz de desenvolverse en estructuras matriciales, articular con distintos niveles de la organización y sostener conversaciones desafiantes cuando el cumplimiento y la gestión de riesgos así lo requieran.

Se requiere formación universitaria afín a Seguridad e Higiene, Ingeniería, Medio Ambiente u otras disciplinas relacionadas, valorándose estudios de posgrado o especialización en la materia, junto con inglés avanzado.

Base: Buenos Aires, Argentina, con disponibilidad para realizar viajes frecuentes a las distintas operaciones.
