De board van Ballast Nedam Development wordt nu ondersteund door één Board Assistant, en met jouw komst doen jullie dat vanaf nu samen. Samen met je collega Board Assistant vorm je een hecht duo: jullie stemmen dagelijks af over prioriteiten, planning en vervangen elkaar daar waar nodig.

Agendabeheer is het grootste deel van je werk. De agenda's van de boardleden zijn complex, vol interne en externe afspraken, events, en incidentele buitenlandse reizen waar van alles voor georganiseerd moet worden. Jij bewaakt het overzicht en plant afspraken efficiënt. Tegelijkertijd weet je dat je nooit alles kunt voorzien en dat er ad hoc van alles kan veranderen. Daar heb je geen moeite mee; dankzij je flexibiliteit en creativiteit pas je je moeiteloos aan een nieuwe situatie aan en zorg je dat iedereen die betrokken is - chauffeurs, gasten, andere assistants - direct op de hoogte is. Communiceren doe je altijd helder, en als dat een enkele keer buiten kantoortijden is, heb je daar geen problemen mee. Je verwelkomt het bezoek van de board (koffie halen) Naast je directe collega Board Assistant werk je ook samen met de Office Manager, met wie je samen diverse teamevents, waaronder het jaarlijkse kerstdiner, organiseert.

Om in deze rol succesvol te zijn, zijn bepaalde eigenschappen en vaardigheden onmisbaar. Daadkracht is een must, net als een proactieve aanpak. Tegelijkertijd weet je ook wanneer je wat gas terugneemt en met de situatie meebeweegt. Je bent een teamplayer die voor collega’s klaar staat en haalt energie uit het ontzorgen van mensen, en al helemaal als dat boardleden zijn die op het hoogste niveau acteren - inclusief het hoge tempo en verwachtingen die daarbij horen. Voor een energieke, positieve assistant die goed gedijt in een fast-paced organisatie, is dit een perfecte stap.
