Your Role

Our inventory includes high-value and sensitive items (subsea connectors, sensors, PCBs, batteries, pressure hulls, and thrusters) along with thousands of small parts like crimps, fasteners, and O-rings. Our vehicles and support equipment also travel regularly between sites, test locations, and client deployments. You will lead the warehouse team, set up robust inventory controls, and make sure the right HAUVs and spares get to the right place on time and in compliance.
Your Job Scope

- Set stocking levels, safety stock, and reorder points for critical and common HAUV parts, working with the Production Planner and Buyer.
- Manage traceability for serialised and batch-controlled parts, vehicles, and field equipment.
- Monitor inventory value, aging, and slow-moving or obsolete stock, and drive corrective action.
- Maintain inventory data and processes in our ERP system (e.g. Odoo).
Warehouse operations and team leadership
- Lead and develop the warehouse team, including Warehouse Technicians.
- Set up and improve receiving, storage, kitting, and issuing processes to support HAUV builds.
- Enforce safe storage and handling for sensitive and controlled items, including ESD-sensitive electronics, lithium batteries, and precision parts.
- Maintain warehouse safety, 5S, and layout as volumes grow.
Logistics and deployment support
- Plan and coordinate shipments of HAUVs, spares, and support equipment for tank tests, sea trials, and client deployments, locally and overseas.
- Manage transfers between Singapore and Johor Bahru, including cross-border transport and customs documentation.
- Manage freight forwarders, couriers, and logistics service providers, including cost and service performance.
- Oversee dangerous goods shipping, especially lithium batteries, in line with IATA DGR and IMDG requirements.
- Track field and loaned equipment, and manage returns, inspection, and refurbishment flow.
Compliance and continuous improvement
- Work with the Buyer (Export Control) to keep all shipments compliant with strategic goods, export, and customs regulations.
- Maintain logistics and inventory records for audits by clients, customs, and internal quality teams.
- Report on inventory accuracy, stock availability, logistics costs, and on-time delivery.
- Improve systems and processes as BeeX scales from low-volume builds to a larger fleet.
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 – 6 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or logistics management, including at least 2 years leading a team, preferably in manufacturing, electronics, marine, aerospace, or defence.

- Data-driven, with strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for reporting.
Good to Have
- Experience supporting project-based or field deployments of heavy or high-value equipment.
- Familiarity with strategic goods and export control requirements.
