Dan is de functie van Adviseur Industriële Veiligheid bij Veiligheidsregio Rotterdam-Rijnmond misschien wel jouw volgende stap. Jouw werk Als Adviseur Industriële Veiligheid werk je aan de veiligheid van enkele van de meest complexe en risicovolle bedrijven in Nederland. Denk aan Seveso-bedrijven zoals Shell, ExxonMobil en Vopak, waar dagelijks grote hoeveelheden gevaarlijke stoffen worden geproduceerd, opgeslagen en vervoerd. Jouw werk maakt direct het verschil voor de veiligheid van medewerkers, de bescherming van het milieu én de inwoners van de regio Rotterdam-Rijnmond. Maar hoe zorg je ervoor dat gevaarlijke stoffen veilig worden opgeslagen en getransporteerd? In deze rol beoordeel je adviesaanvragen rondom vergunningen op het gebied van industriële en brandveiligheid die afkomstig zijn van de DCMR Milieudienst Rijnmond. Daarbij toets je aan wet- en regelgeving, zoals de Omgevingswet, de Publicatiereeks Gevaarlijke Stoffen (PGS) en NFPA-codes. Ook speel je een belangrijke rol bij de beoordeling van bedrijfsbrandweren. Je onderzoekt welke grote industriële bedrijven een eigen bedrijfsbrandweer nodig hebben en adviseert over de inrichting daarvan. Zo draag je bij aan het voorkomen van incident...
