Waarom kiezen voor deze baan? - Je begeleidt patiënten rondom onderzoeken en behandelingen waarbij sedatie nodig is en bent op een spannend moment een vertrouwd aanspreekpunt. - Veel zelfstandigheid in je vak, binnen duidelijke afspraken en in nauwe samenwerking met de anesthesioloog en andere zorgprofessionals. - Je werkt bij verschillende onderzoeken en behandelingen en hebt te maken met uiteenlopende patiëntengroepen. - Jouw vakkennis krijgt ook buiten de directe patiëntenzorg een plek, bijvoorbeeld bij het verbeteren van werkafspraken, protocollen en de kwaliteit van sedatiezorg. - Krijg de kans om mee te denken over de verdere inrichting en ontwikkeling van deze functie binnen het ziekenhuis. Wat ga je doen? Als sedatiepraktijkspecialist zorg je zelfstandig voor veilige en passende sedatie bij patiënten die een onderzoek of behandeling ondergaan. Je hebt daarbij een belangrijke rol in het beoordelen van de patiënt, het uitvoeren van de sedatie en het continu bewaken van de vitale functies. Je schakelt snel wanneer de situatie daarom vraagt en werkt nauw samen met de anesthesioloog en het behandelteam. Daarnaast werk je ook als anesthesiemedewerker op de OK. Een afwisselende combi functie dus! In deze functie: - Voer je zelfstandig sedatie uit bij verschillende onderzoeken, operaties en behandelingen; - Beoordeel en bewaak je continu de vitale functies (toestand, het bewustzijn, de ademhaling en circulatie) van de patiënt; - Stem je de sedatie af op de patiënt en het verloop van de procedure; (altijd met achterwacht van de anesthesioloog); - Bereid je ...
