Je komt te werken in een multidisciplinair en zelforganiserend team, waarin je nauw samen werkt met het verpleegkundig team dat bestaat uit een AIOS, 3 psychiaters, een GZ psycholoog, een maatschappelijk werker en een transferpunt verpleegkundige. Tevens is er een goede somatische ondersteuning vanuit hun medisch centrum (huisarts, internist, diëtiste, ergotherapeut, fysiotherapie). Het team houdt zich actief bezig met de ontwikkelingen binnen de geestelijke gezondheidszorg. Er heerst een plezierige en open werksfeer. Over de organisatie Zij behandelen en begeleiden volwassenen met ernstige psychiatrische aandoeningen (EPA) en ouderen met psychiatrische problemen of dementie. De ouderenkliniek is een klinische opnamevoorziening voor cliënten met (verdenking op) een psychiatrische stoornis, die (in principe) ouder zijn dan 60 jaar. De meest voorkomende indicaties zijn een ernstige depressie, psychose, manie, delier, crisis bij persoonlijkheidsproblematiek, vaak in combinatie met cognitieve problemen, somatische problemen en/of systeemproblemen. De opname kan vrijwillig plaatsvinden, maar ook gedwongen. Zij biedt diagnostiek en behandeling op een gesloten en een open afdeling. Familie en naasten betrekken we zoveel mogelijk bij de behandeling. Op de afdeling is het belangrijk dat je cliënt- en resultaatgericht werkt. De opnameduur varieert van enkele weken tot maximaal een jaar. Daarbij kijken we of de cliënt weer naar huis kan met nazorg en ondersteuning vanuit onze ambulante teams of dat opname in bijvoorbeeld een verzorgings-/verpleeghuis nodig is.
