The posting

De ene dag sta je met beide benen op de grond, de volgende werk je metershoog tussen de takken. Als boomverzorger zorg jij ervoor dat bomen veilig, gezond en sterk blijven. Je werkt buiten, komt op verschillende locaties en krijgt veel zelfstandigheid in je werk.

Je houdt je bezig met specialistische boomverzorging. Denk aan snoeien, boomveiligheidscontroles en het herkennen van ziekten en plagen. Heb je jouw ETW al op zak? Mooi. Zo niet, dan kijken we vooral naar de vakkennis en ervaring die je meebrengt.

Als boomverzorger werk je met goed materieel en volgens het Handboek Bomen. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

• Snoeien en onderhouden van verschillende soorten bomen;

• Controleren van bomen op veiligheid, conditie en gezondheid;

• Uitvoeren van klimwerk en werkzaamheden op hoogte;

• Herkennen en aanpakken van ziekten en plagen;

• Veilig werken volgens het Handboek Bomen.

Je werkt voornamelijk in dagdienst. Geen dag hetzelfde, wel iedere dag lekker buiten in het groen.

Functie-eisen: Voor deze functie zoeken we een boomverzorger die veilig kan werken en weet wat een boom nodig heeft. Je hoeft niet overal een papiertje voor te hebben, maar praktische vakkennis vinden we belangrijk.

Dit breng je mee:

• Ervaring met boomverzorging, snoeiwerk of vergelijkbaar werk in het groen;

• Rijbewijs B, bij voorkeur BE;

• Kennis van werken volgens het Handboek Bomen;

• Een ETW-diploma is een mooie pré.

Je kunt zelfstandig op pad en gaat zorgvuldig om met machines, gereedschap en de omgeving waarin je werkt.
