Jouw waterwerk raakt ons allemaal Als handhaver bij waterschap Brabantse Delta zorg je elke dag dat mensen veilig kunnen wonen, werken en genieten in en om het water. Jouw ervaring en kennis zijn daarbij onmisbaar. Want bij waterschap Brabantse Delta houd jij toezicht op de naleving van de wetten en regels voor bedrijven en industriële inrichtingen. Hierbij handel je overtredingen af en stel je brieven op. Je organiseert reguliere controles en extra controles als daar vraag naar is. Je bent bereid mee te draaien in de piketdienst. Daarnaast zet jij, daar waar nodig, het strafrecht in bij milieuovertredingen, overtredingen van de waterschapsverordening en economische delicten. Het opsporen, het opmaken van processen-verbaal, het starten van strafrechtelijke onderzoeken en het uitvaardigen van bestuursrechtelijke strafbeschikkingen; jij draait er je hand niet voor om. Zo draag je bij aan het verbeteren van de waterkwaliteit in ons werkgebied en het watersysteem. Als er zo min mogelijk ongewenste lozingen plaatsvinden, dan ben jij pas echt tevreden over jouw waterwerk. Dit raakt jou - Jij staat stevig in je schoenen en kunt omgaan met weerstand. - Je hebt oog voor detail en wet- en regelgeving, specifiek voor bedrijven, industrie en afvalwaterlozingen. Als BOA (domein II) heb je uiteraard ook kennis van en ervaring met het strafrecht. - Jij krijgt energie van contact met allerlei mensen en organisaties; van collega's, ondernemers en vergunninghouders tot de Omgevingsdienst Midden- en West-Brabant en het Openbaar Ministerie. - Jij kijkt graag naar wat handiger, beter en slimmer kan in je werk en gaat daarmee aan de slag. - Jij gaat graag zelfsta...
