Lees snel verder! Over het werk Als HVK (hoger veiligheidskundige funderingstechniek) ben je de inhoudelijke kartrekker op het gebied van veiligheid, gezondheid en milieu. Je geeft functioneel leiding aan twee zelfstandige MVK'ers en werkt samen met collega's op projecten, in de werkplaats en op kantoor. In het begin ben je veel op pad om de praktijk goed te leren kennen. Daarna ligt het zwaartepunt van je werk op het aansturen en verder ontwikkelen van het HSE-beleid. Je werkt binnen een technische omgeving waar dagelijks met zwaar materieel en complexe funderingstechnieken wordt gewerkt. Dat vraagt om iemand die weet wat er in de praktijk gebeurt. Natuurlijk ken je de wet- en regelgeving en weet je hoe een RI&E, TRA of veiligheidsmanagementsysteem hoort te werken. Maar je begrijpt ook dat een oplossing op papier pas waarde heeft als deze op een bouwplaats daadwerkelijk uitvoerbaar is. Daar zit een belangrijk deel van jouw rol. Je loopt mee op projecten, spreekt met uitvoerders en medewerkers en kijkt waar risico's ontstaan. Je onderzoekt incidenten en bijna-ongevallen, voert veiligheidsstudies en inspecties uit en zorgt dat verbetermaatregelen niet op papier blijven staan. Ook werk je aan het verder ontwikkelen van de veiligheidscultuur richting niveau 4 van de Safety Culture Ladder. Een voorbeeld? Een risico komt tijdens een project steeds terug.
