Onze geavanceerde 3D simulatie technologie wordt gebruikt door grote internationale klanten in de maritieme, offshore en remote handling industrie. Tree C simulatoren worden onder anderen ingezet voor training van operators, calamiteiten-training voor crews, voorbereiding van complexe operaties onder water, en real-time visualisatie van live remote operations. Wat ga je doen? Als Simulation Developer werk je in teamverband aan de ontwikkeling van ''heavy equipment'' simulatoren op basis van het Tree C Simulator Framework, een modulair en gestructureerd platform voor het efficiënt bouwen en onderhouden van specifieke simulatoren. In afwisselende projecten bouw je op basis van 3D modellen een virtuele versie van de veelal complexe machines van onze klanten. De nadruk ligt op het doorgronden van technische processen en deze vervolgens omzetten in een interactieve simulator. Aan 3D CAD modellen worden fysische eigenschappen en interactief gedrag toegevoegd met gebruik van de AgX physics engine en een script omgeving (LUA). Ook het maken van PLC koppelingen met werkelijke bedieningsapparatuur en software of het ontwikkelen van virtuele controls op een touchscreen kan hier bij horen. Realistische trainings-scenarios, gebaseerd op de praktijk van onze klanten, maken het af. Het eindresultaat is een zeer realistische simulator, zowel in gedrag als in looks. Je werkt hierbij samen in een breed team van specialisten op gebied van 3D modelleren, virtual reality, physics engines, en software ontwikkeling. Wie ben jij...
