Als Software Engineer AI-toepassingen in Haarlem ontwikkel je DAAN: het interne AI-platform van de provincie Noord-Holland. Jij bouwt slimme functies, zorgt voor betrouwbare techniek en maakt AI praktisch toepasbaar voor ruim 1.000 gebruikers. Je werkt in een zelfstandig team met veel ruimte voor initiatief, innovatie en zichtbare impact. Jouw baan Je werkt aan de verdere ontwikkeling van DAAN. Dit interne AI-platform helpt collega’s om AI veilig, verantwoord en effectief in te zetten. Jij combineert moderne softwareontwikkeling met cloudtechnologie, kwaliteit en beheer. Daarbij kijk je steeds hoe het slimmer, stabieler en gebruiksvriendelijker kan. Je ontwikkelt nieuwe functies en verbetert bestaande onderdelen in Next.js, TypeScript en Node.js. Je bouwt en beheert platformcomponenten, zoals koppelingen met taalmodellen, documentverwerking en MCP-servers. Je verbetert AI-antwoorden door te werken aan prompts, informatieophaaltechnieken en modelkeuzes. Je richt geautomatiseerde tests in en test AI-output op kwaliteit, juistheid en effecten van wijzigingen. Je beheert en optimaliseert de ontwikkel-, test-, acceptatie- en productieomgeving op Microsoft Azure. Je automatiseert deployments met Continuous Integration en Continuous Delivery en Infrastructure as Code. Je monitort prestaties, beschikbaarheid en kosten. Ook los je incidenten in de keten op. Je helpt eindgebruikers met het bouwen van AI-assistenten en geeft workshops of instructies over DAAN. Je werkt nauw samen met je collega’s van #Vooruitlab, product owners, het Competence Center for Security, functioneel beheerders, testers en gebruikers van AI-toepassingen. Dit bieden wij Een bruto maandsalaris tussen € 3.886,37 en € 5.474,08 (schaal 10) op basis van 36 uur per week. Daarnaast krijg je een Individueel Keuzebudget (IKB) van ongeveer 22% van je bruto maandsalaris. Het IKB kun je onder meer inruilen voor extra vrije dagen. Een opleidingsbudget van € 6.000 per 5 jaar. De provincie investeert graag in jouw

ontwikkeling en biedt volop leermogelijkheden. Een jaarlijkse salarisverhoging van 3%, tot het maximum van je salarisschaal. Een goede pensioenregeling waaraan de provincie meebetaalt. Een volledige vergoeding van woon-werkverkeer en dienstreizen met het openbaar vervoer. Ook kun je via je IKB gebruikmaken van een aantrekkelijk fietsplan. Een jaarcontract, met de bedoeling je aan het einde van dat jaar een vast contract aan te bieden. Ons kantoor in Haarlem is onze uitvalsbasis. In overleg is er ruimte om thuis te werken.
