Jouw nieuwe baan Complexe somatische, psychogeriatrische en geronto-psychiatrische problematiek vraagt om medische regie én een brede blik. Als specialist ouderengeneeskunde werk je voor meerdere woonzorglocaties en neem je waar nodig zelf de regie in behandeling. Daarnaast ontwikkel en bewaak je het medisch beleid binnen de locaties. Binnen Opname & Diagnostiek werk je op het snijvlak van somatiek, psychiatrie en cognitie. Je voert cognitief onderzoek uit, stelt diagnoses en kijkt daarbij naar herstel en passende doorstroom. Ook bied je consultatieve ondersteuning in de eerstelijnszorg en werk je samen met ouderenpsychiatrie en klinisch geriaters. Naast de directe cliëntenzorg houd je je bezig met deskundigheidsbevordering, infectiepreventie en hygiëne. Samen met de toezichthoudend apotheker kom je tot onderbouwde medisch-farmaceutische adviezen. Voor onder meer Korsakov, dementie en complexe somatiek werk je met zorgprogramma's en wetenschappelijk onderbouwde methodieken. Onderzoek en ontwikkeling maken eveneens deel uit van het werk. Via praktijkgericht wetenschappelijk onderzoek draag je bij aan verdere vernieuwing van de ouderenzorg. Jouw nieuwe werkplek In Heerenveen en Wolvega bevinden zich meerdere woonzorglocaties met diverse doelgroepen. Binnen deze setting combineer je verpleeghuiszorg, geriatrische revalidatie en diagnostiek. Ouderenzorg staat hier niet op zichzelf.
