Je gaat werken als Verzorgende IG binnen onze geriatrische revalidatiezorg (GRZ). Tegelijkertijd staat er iets moois te gebeuren: in de nabije toekomst starten we met onze gloednieuwe Acute Ouderen Herstelafdeling (AOH). Een mooie kans om niet alleen goede zorg te bieden, maar ook mee te groeien met een nieuwe ontwikkeling binnen onze afdeling. Wat ga je doen? Op onze afdeling is geen dag hetzelfde. Je biedt dagelijkse zorg en begeleiding aan ouderen met uiteenlopende revalidatie- en herstelvragen. Je helpt cliënten bij hun dagelijkse activiteiten en stimuleert hen om zoveel mogelijk zelf te doen. Juist door goed te kijken, te luisteren en aan te sluiten bij wat iemand nodig heeft, help je een cliënt steeds een stapje verder. Als Verzorgende IG heb je daarbij een belangrijke rol in het observeren en signaleren. Je houdt de voortgang, belastbaarheid en het gedrag van cliënten goed in de gaten. Verandert er iets in de gezondheidstoestand van een cliënt? Dan merk jij dit op, bespreek je dit met de juiste collega's en onderneem je waar nodig actie. Je voert de dagelijkse ADL-zorg uit en verricht verpleegtechnische handelingen die binnen jouw bevoegdheid en bekwaamheid vallen.
