Location

New York, NY (Manhattan) — Full-Time, On-Site. Join our team in Manhattan, where you'll collaborate closely with experienced legal professionals and gain hands-on exposure to New York personal injury litigation.

Note:

Candidates must be admitted to the New York State Bar and have 1+ years of New York personal injury litigation experience. Both plaintiff-side and insurance defense attorneys are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

  • Manage personal injury litigation cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other injury claims.
  • Handle discovery, draft pleadings, prepare legal documents, and keep cases moving toward resolution.
  • Take and defend depositions, prepare clients for testimony, and participate in court proceedings.
  • Appear at conferences and hearings in New York courts.
  • Research, draft, and argue motions, including discovery and summary judgment motions.
  • Evaluate case value, prepare settlement demands, and negotiate with insurance carriers and defense counsel.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals to develop effective litigation strategies.
  • Prepare cases for trial and help deliver excellent outcomes for injured clients.

Qualifications

  • Active New York State Bar admission in good standing.
  • 1+ years of New York personal injury litigation experience.
  • Experience with litigation discovery, depositions, court appearances, or motion practice.
  • Working knowledge of New York civil litigation procedures and the CPLR.
  • Strong legal research, writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently while contributing to a team.
  • Plaintiff-side personal injury experience, settlement negotiations, and familiarity with Litify are a plus.
