Note

Candidates must have an active Louisiana Bar license and 2+ years of workers' compensation experience. We welcome attorneys from both plaintiff-side and defense-side backgrounds who are ready to make a meaningful impact representing injured workers.

Job Description

  • Represent injured workers in Louisiana workers' compensation claims and disputes.
  • Manage cases from initial evaluation through negotiation, settlement, or hearing.
  • Develop effective legal strategies to help clients secure benefits and compensation.
  • Prepare pleadings, discovery, legal motions, and other case documentation.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, insurers, and medical providers.
  • Collaborate with experienced attorneys and legal support staff to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Maintain an organized caseload while providing responsive, compassionate client service.

Qualifications

  • Active Louisiana Bar license in good standing.
  • 2+ years of workers' compensation experience.
  • Understanding of Louisiana workers' compensation laws and procedures.
  • Experience with workers' compensation claims, case management, or litigation.
  • Strong legal writing, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Plaintiff-side or insurance defense litigation experience is welcome.
