Join our team in the heart of New Orleans! We offer an engaging, collaborative in-office environment, with potential flexibility for exceptional candidates elsewhere in Louisiana.

Note

Candidates must have an active Louisiana Bar license and 4+ years of hands-on civil litigation experience. Experience taking depositions, handling summary judgment matters, and independently managing cases is essential. Personal injury or insurance defense experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description

  • Lead personal injury litigation cases from initial evaluation through settlement or trial.
  • Develop case strategies, manage discovery, and prepare persuasive legal arguments.
  • Take fact and expert witness depositions and handle dispositive motions.
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate confidently for clients.
  • Prepare for hearings, mediations, and civil jury trials.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal support professionals to deliver exceptional results.
  • Manage deadlines and a diverse caseload while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Active Louisiana Bar license in good standing.
  • 4+ years of substantive civil litigation experience.
  • Hands-on experience with depositions, motion practice, and case management.
  • Ability to independently manage litigation matters from start to finish.
  • Personal injury or insurance defense background preferred.
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • First-chair jury trial experience is a plus.
