Je wilt niet de hele dag tickets afvinken. Jij wilt snappen waarom iets fout gaat, het goed fixen en voorkomen dat het terugkomt. Bij Proxsys krijg je die ruimte. In deze rol los je complexe Cloud incidenten op, analyseer je de oorzaak en werk je aan duurzame oplossingen. Geen routinevragen, maar uitdagende technische puzzels in Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID en Azure AD. Met de vrijheid om zelf te bepalen hoe je ze oplost.

Jouw rol bij Proxsys

Als Senior Cloud Engineer ben jij degene die in actie komt bij complexe escalaties: storingen of incidenten die directe impact hebben op de business van onze klanten. Je verdiept je in de techniek, vindt de oorzaak en zorgt dat het écht opgelost wordt. Daarna kijk je samen met collega’s hoe het structureel beter kan.

Om je een beeld te geven:

  • Een uitdagende software-deployment die muurvast zit. Een klant gebruikt Scappman om software via Intune op laptops te pushen. Eén van hun bedrijfsapplicaties weigert echter hardnekkig te installeren, ondanks flinke inzet van de servicedesk. Jij stapt in, rolt op je laptop een VM uit, laat ’m via Autopilot deployen en duikt vol in de techniek. Met een combinatie van logs, dependency-checks en een scherpe blik in de Event Viewer spoor je het probleem op. Je fixt het, deelt de oplossing én zorgt dat het in de toekomst niet meer gebeurt.
  • Een bedrijf kritische applicatie die na een migratie crasht. Na een migratie van een RDS-omgeving naar een nieuwe OS-versie blijkt één cruciale applicatie onbruikbaar en de klant schiet direct in de stress. Jij logt in, zet Process Monitor aan en bekijkt real-time wat er op bestandssysteem-, registry- en threadniveau gebeurt. Je achterhaalt dat de verouderde applicatie geen UAC-virtualization ondersteunt. Met de juiste registry-aanpassingen werkt alles weer en de gebruikers kunnen door alsof er niets is gebeurd.

Je bent de verbindende schakel tussen servicedesk, field-engineers, projecten, architecten en beheerteam. Iemand die eigenaarschap toont, snel kan schakelen en rust bewaart als het spannend wordt.

Concreet betekent dat:

· Oplossen van complexe escalaties en prioriteitsincidenten (P1/P2) binnen Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Azure AD, Exchange en SharePoint.

· Uitvoeren van root cause analyses en doorvoeren van duurzame fixes.

· Signaleren van structurele verbeteringen en deze in overleg implementeren.

· Optimaliseren van security, identity & access policies binnen klantomgevingen.

· Bijdragen aan standaardisatie en verdere professionalisering van de supportorganisatie.

· En waar mogelijk: automatiseren van terugkerende taken via bv: PowerShell, als logische volgende stap in je ontwikkeling.

Wat jij meebrengt

  • 4–8 jaar ervaring in IT-support of engineering, waarvan meerdere jaren met Microsoft-cloudomgevingen.
  • Diepgaande kennis van Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Exchange en SharePoint.
  • Ervaring met troubleshooting en incidentanalyse op technisch niveau.
  • Analytisch sterk, communicatief vaardig en gericht op structurele verbetering.

To ensure effective communication with our clients and team, it's essential that you speak Dutch at a B2 level according to NT2 standards and are currently residing in the Netherlands.
