Responsibilities
- Strategic Investment Leadership (Value Creation): Develop and implement a comprehensive investment strategy aligned with the Raya’s goals and risk appetite. Provide strategic guidance to the executive team on market trends, investment opportunities, and potential risks; and regularly reporting to management regarding performance and peer comparative data. Implement proactive strategies to maximize portfolio companies’ valuations, returns and mitigate risks. Develop with the CFO the annual Holdco/Opco investment goals/targets aligning with strategic direction. Provide strategic leadership in investment decisions, recommending critical choices that drive the growth and performance of Raya’s investment portfolio. Oversee Raya’s investment portfolio, optimizing performance and ensuring alignment with investment targets.
- M&A and Transaction Management: Lead the identification and evaluation of various investment opportunities, including acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures and other development projects. Lead the process of conducting thorough due diligence, financial analysis, and risk assessments for potential investments; and lead-on till successful closing. Manage and coordinate between a wide-array of advisors, bankers and management consultants to lead through effective M&A deals’ management and closing.
- Relationship Management with Key Investment Stakeholders: Effectively communicate investment strategies, performance updates, and market insights to internal stakeholders, investors, board of directors and partners/minority investors within portfolio companies. Oversight on the entire group-wide IR and Investment functions, to ensure compliance to policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and best practices in IR & investment. Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, bankers, brokers, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance Field
- Technical Certification is preferred (e.g. CFA, CMA, CPM, &/or CPA)
Professional Experience:
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- 5 years of management experience

Functional level:
- Excellent writing and reporting skills
- Excellent level of financial analysis and principles
- Excellent understanding of financial valuation and corporate finance concepts.
- High level of concern for quality and accuracy in all work
- Excellent awareness of different budget and planning strategies and tactics
