Raya Returnship Program
Are you an experienced woman who has taken a career break and is ready to return to work?
Raya Returnship is a six-month, paid career re-entry program designed to help women reconnect with the workplace, build on their previous experience, and prepare for future career opportunities.
Through a placement at Raya Holding or one of its portfolio companies, you’ll gain hands-on experience and participate in learning and training opportunities provided by Raya. The program offers a structured pathway back into the workforce, allowing you to refresh your skills, rebuild professional confidence, and contribute to a business team.
At the end of the program, participants' performance will be evaluated by the portfolio company, with strong performers potentially considered for permanent employment opportunities.
Who are we looking for?
- Women who have 2–3 years of professional experience before their career break.
- Candidates who are currently outside the workforce.
- Women who have taken a career break due to caregiving, relocation, education, entrepreneurship, or other personal circumstances.
- Candidates whose previous experience and qualifications align with one of the available tracks.

Available Tracks
1. Human Resources
Support various HR functions, including general HR operations, talent acquisition, HRIS, and compensation and benefits. Responsibilities may include supporting recruitment activities, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, maintaining employee data and HR systems, contributing to HR reporting and analytics, assisting with payroll and benefits administration, and supporting HR process improvements.
Candidates should hold a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Commerce, Law, or a related field. Previous experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, HRIS, or Compensation & Benefits is required or preferred depending on the assigned role. Familiarity with HR systems, recruitment processes, compensation practices, and labor regulations is an advantage. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are essential.

2. Finance
Support financial operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accounting activities. Responsibilities may include invoice processing, payment follow-ups, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting warehouse audits, inventory reconciliation and valuation, petty cash reviews, investigating financial discrepancies, preparing audit reports, and assisting with month-end closing and account reconciliations.
Candidates should hold a Commerce degree for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable opportunities, while a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred for Accounting opportunities. Previous accounting or financial operations experience is relevant, along with familiarity with petty cash, internal controls, and financial reconciliations. Strong Excel skills, familiarity with accounting systems, analytical abilities, and attention to detail are important.

3. Sales & Retail Operations
Drive sales performance and operational efficiency across retail channels. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, expanding market coverage, ensuring product availability and visibility, building strong customer and retailer relationships, monitoring sales performance across representatives and stores, preparing management reports, and identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
Candidates should hold an intermediate or bachelor's degree, with previous outdoor sales experience required or preferred depending on the assigned role. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are important, alongside the ability to achieve sales targets. For retail operations responsibilities, strong numerical and analytical skills are preferred.

4. Business Control
Support commercial control and ensure compliance with company standards throughout the sales process. Responsibilities include reviewing customer purchase orders (POs) and contracts, identifying potential risks in terms and conditions, coordinating management approvals for non-standard agreements, supporting sales system updates, and maintaining tracking records for awarded deals and monitoring their progress.
Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, with previous experience in Business Control, Commercial Control, or a related function being an advantage. Advanced English language skills, strong Excel skills, an understanding of P&L, and the ability to review commercial documents and identify potential risks are important. Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills are also required.

5. Commercial Operations
Support the operational backbone of the Consumer Finance business, ensuring that sales, product, and credit processes run efficiently end-to-end. Responsibilities include performance tracking, reporting, monitoring business results, and supporting process optimization initiatives to contribute to revenue growth and cost-to-serve targets.
Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Previous experience in Commercial Operations, Business Operations, or a related function is an advantage. Strong numerical and data-analysis skills, reporting capabilities, and the ability to monitor business performance and identify process improvement opportunities are important.

6. Risk & Compliance
Support risk management, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance activities. Responsibilities include monitoring portfolio health, analyzing credit risk, tracking risk indicators and performance metrics, supporting Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and provisioning analysis, preparing management information system (MIS) reports, maintaining official documentation, coordinating governance activities, and supporting regulatory and investor-relations requirements.
Candidates should hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. Previous experience in Risk, Credit, Portfolio Management, Financial Analysis, Compliance, Legal Affairs, or Corporate Governance is an advantage. Familiarity with credit risk, portfolio monitoring, regulatory requirements, or corporate governance practices is beneficial. Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive, and attention to detail are important.

7. Purchasing
Support product range sourcing, supplier negotiations, and inventory replenishment for retail lines. Responsibilities include negotiating pricing and terms with external vendors, balancing stock availability with working capital efficiency, managing supplier relationships, and aligning product assortments with customer demand.
Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Previous experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Merchandising, or a related function is an advantage. Strong communication and negotiation skills, the ability to manage supplier relationships, and good analytical and organizational skills are important. Familiarity with inventory management and stock replenishment is also beneficial.

8. Quality Assurance
Evaluate customer interactions across call-center and support channels to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include call monitoring, identifying performance gaps, tracking Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) and First Call Resolution (FCR) metrics, analyzing quality trends, and providing constructive feedback to improve service delivery.
A specific university major is not required, although a bachelor's degree or relevant higher education is preferred. Previous Quality Assurance experience, knowledge of call-center operations and customer service processes, and familiarity with customer-service KPIs are relevant. Strong analytical, communication, and feedback skills, along with attention to detail, are important.

9. Marketing & Communications
Contribute to PR strategy and corporate messaging across internal and external communication channels. Responsibilities may include supporting PR campaigns, executive visibility initiatives, content creation, agency management, corporate events, media relations, and reputation management.
Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, preferably in Public Relations or Corporate Communication, or a degree in Marketing. Previous experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills, content development abilities, creativity, and organizational skills are important. Familiarity with media relations, campaign management, and event coordination is beneficial.
